We discovered that the average person loses over 5 hours per week trying to relocate websites, articles, and resources they've previously visited. The built-in history features in browsers are rudimentary at best, offering little help for meaningful recall and organization.
As browsing habits became more complex, we realized there was an opportunity to create something that would transform this forgotten data into valuable insights while preserving privacy and user control.
WebLogs.me started in early 2024 as a side project by a small team of developers who were frustrated with losing track of important resources they'd discovered online. What began as a simple note-taking Chrome extension evolved into a comprehensive platform for capturing, organizing, and analyzing web browsing data.
Today, we're building WebLogs.me to be more than just a history tool.
